Friday July 25th

Tuesday and Wednesday were taking care of personal business days. A trip to Rapid City, grocery shopping, laundry and all that exciting stuff that we all have to do periodically. Thursday we went to Wind Cave National Park. We were disappointed in the cave formations, except for the "boxwork." We have been in many caves throughout the country that have spectacular formations but this is not one of them. However, the cave itself is very interesting with passages leading all over the place, 127 miles worth in what they claim is all within one square mile of surface area. Today is the start of Custer gold discovery days and after lunch we will go in to see the flower and quilt exhibits.
