Lautensleger, Con & Kathy

We began recreational RV'ing in 1966, during which time our family camped in all of the lower 48 states.  We retired from education in 1992 and became "half-timers," traveling mainly in the southwest and Mexico.  Now we spend most of our away time (Oct. to April) in Yuma, with many side trips to southwest attractions and Mexico in our '07 SYA.  Among our favorite activities:  collecting Mexican and southwestern art and jewelry.

We also have our own family campground on the Methow River near Mazama, WA in the North Cascades.  We have 10 RV hook-ups (water, 30 amp. electricity and TV).  We love to spend many summer days there watching deer, birds (a whole family of pileated woodpeckers), an occasional bear, and many other animals.  We ride our 4-wheelers there (as well as in Yuma), hike many trails, and visit around very large campfires.  We welcome guests!
