install the Pro Fill Battery Water Maintenance System on our coach
the first time we visted Charlie's 3 years ago. Last year, as a sort
of "volunteer" employee at Charlie's, I installed several Pro Fill
systems on customer coaches. And now this year, as a full time
employee at Charlie's, I have installed many Pro Fill systems on
customer coaches- and received a lot of feed back on the product from
other Alfa owners.

My personal experience, backed up by the experiences of customers who
have talked to me about their Pro Fill system, let's me state without
reservation that the Pro Fill automatic battery watering system is
one of the best upgrades that any coach owner can install, or have
installed, on his/her coach. Once installed, the Pro Fill needs no
maintenance. After 3 years on our coach, the system shows no sign of
wear.

Any Alfa owner who services his own batteries knows what a pain this
chore can be, even utilizing the battery servicing container that
comes with many Alfa models. Its almost impossible not to over fill
the cells and it really helps if your an acrobat when attempting to
service the last cells on the batteries furthest from the access
opening. Pro fill eliminates all of this.

Water allowed to remain on the top of the batteries combines with the
gasses that naturally escape from the batteries, formning a film that
attracts dirt and enhances a coroded terminal situation. Just today I
replaced a full set of original batteries on a 2003 Alfa See Ya that
had one of the first design Pro fill Systems on it since the coach
was new. I was impressed with the clean condition and the overall
good visual condition of the batteries in general. The battery trays
on coaches requiring batteries that I have worked on without Pro Fill
systems are usually all sulfated up, but the batteries and trays I
worked on today with Pro Fill were near clean in comparison.

The Pro Fill system eliminates all the hassles connected with
servicing rv batteries in general and is a must-have addition for
Alfa owners who have to service 6 batteries, several of which are in
a fairly confined area. It now takes me longer to get out my gallon
jug of distilled water than it does to actually service the
batteries!

As far as any other battery maintenance goes, I squirt on a can of
battery cleaner (that you can get from the battery section at Wall-
Mart) on the batteries once a year and wash it off as directed and
our batteries remain looking like new. We don't seem to have any
residue or sulfer build up either since installing the Pro Fill
system.
